Care & Cure has allowed us not only to be responsive to the families and the children with epilepsy, but also to assemble top talent — world-class epileptologists — that trained with us, often chose to stay with us. And when they didn’t stay with us, many of them have populated neighboring institutions.

THE NETWORK
Every Specialist Trained, Still Connected
Since 2006, the Care & Cure Institute has funded the final stage of training for 57 pediatric epileptologists to date, now practicing across 27 states. The National Fellows Network connects them to one another — alumni in practice, fellows in training, and the incoming class each July — along with the faculty mentors who train them. A significant share of those mentors are Care & Cure fellows themselves, now directing the programs where they trained. The Network is built on that continuity: expertise compounds instead of dispersing.
